COBRA Data Disclosure: Always 34.00?

Tip 19: One of the best ways to tell whether or not QTs in your jurisdiction are taking Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) seriously, is to obtain COBRA data of #duisimulator temperatures that have been keyed by various QTs at the detachment for the last year. Alternatively obtain COBRA and sort and filter the COBRA for the particular officer who is the QT in your case. If the temperature always reads 34.00, something is very wrong. Simulators may be reliable to maintain temperature fairly close to 34.0 but they will not always be 34.00. QTs need to be diligent in verifying simulator temperature through careful observation. If they are not careful to observe the actual temperature, they are not using the alcohol standard as its manufacturer, the ATC, and the CFS intend. Perhaps the officers always key in 34.00 no matter what the actual temperature reads.
